Joining the Club

Before  you apply for membership of the club you must have completed a beginners course.

Fees are £80 for seniors, £60 for 18-24 year old, £40 for juniors per year and pro rata if joining part way through a year. Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December each year. 

Shaw Lane membership fees are £13 for Senior and £6 for juniors; please note this is in addition to club fees.

Archery GB, County and Regional affilliation fees are £53 for a renewing Senior member (£56 for new members); £18 for a renewing 18-24 year old (£22 for new members) and £12.60 for renewing Junior and Disabled members (£16.60 for new members). Affilliation fees are due in August each year.

Beginners Courses

Details of courses will be posted on social media and in the club calendar section of the website. We operate a waiting list and will contact individuals as places become available.

Typically a course runs for 6 sessions either once or twice per week to acheive 12 hours of 1:1 tuition. The total cost of course is £60 which includes all use of club equipment.

The courses are open to everyone. Juniors need to be 7 or over to take part and a parent/guardian must be present throughout. The courses are designed to get you to a standard where you can shoot safely, enjoyably and with accuracy.

Taster Sessions

Taster sessions are held throughout the year and usually just before a beginners course.

A taster session runs for 2 hours and costs £20 per person.
